Fasicawhat?

We're used to the weird and wonderful world of celebrity beauty treatments, and from Kimmy K's blood facial to Justin Beiber's cupping, we've pretty much seen it all.

But the most recent celebrity obsession has captured our intrigue to say the least, not least due to the fact it has garnered a cult following of *millions* on Facebook. The FasciaBlaster was created by Ashley Black, who had suffered with chronic pain ever since she was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis in her youth.

While searching for alternative therapies to help cope with her condition, she became interested in the fascia - a connective tissue that surrounds and supports the muscles, bones and internal organs - and its role on inflammatory conditions. She went on to invent the Fasciablaster tool as a straightforward way for people to perform fascia treatment from the comfort of their own home.

The tool itself is a long, plastic wand with claw like attachments, which have been designed to massage the fascia, increasing blood flow to the area in order to alleviate inflammation as well as slimming, firming and, apparently, boosting overall metabolism.

According to advocates, including celebrities like Kourtney Kardashain, the treatment is able to help with everything from slimming stubborn areas of fat and firming the skin, to reducing cellulite, to alleviating muscle pain.
