Kadeeja, who runs the Instagram account EmeraldxBeauty, told Cosmo that one of the star products for clearing up her acne was The Body Shop's Tea Tree Cleanser. At just £6.50, it's ideal for beauty buffs on a budget.

LETS TALK ACNE & MAKEUP!! 💕 One thing I’m always told is to never wear any Makeup as it ruins my skin.. One thing I wish I could tell each person that thinks this is Makeup is NOT always the cause of Acne. I have Hormonal Cystic Acne .. in short terms that means.. my skin is the way it is due to a Hormonal imbalance oh .. and having PCOS doesn’t really help 😂😩 but it’s all good! I love my Bare face & my Glammed Face! 💕 but on a serious not .. you can’t even see the Acne/Bumpiness in the Second post! Using @kkwbeauty Body Foundation .. YESSS .. I’m using it as a FOUNDATION ON MY FACE! Along with the @soniaxfyza Buffering Technique .. like what! 💕 💯 to 💯 real fast 😂 I know my Makeup isn’t the best but I still love it 😂😂💕 If you’re the LEFT or RIGHT .. EMBRACE YOU! 💕💕 #makeup #acne #skin #skinpositivity #loveyourself

Kadeeja isn't alone in her praise for the product; there's a plethora of positive reviews on The Body Shop's page.

"I never ever write reviews, but the tea tree range is incredible," wrote one impressed user. "I have tried every brand going to try and get clear, brighter skin (all the expensive brands, that cost me a fortune!!) I read the review on this and thought I’d give it a try, although I believed it wouldn’t work. Whilst I don’t have 'bad skin', I do get break outs, my skin gets oily, I get random big spots and I have lots of discolouration or sun damage and slight melasma. I bought a gift set which included the foam wash, a toner and a matt cream, I’ve used it every day and night for over 6 months now and my skin is better than ever, every morning I wake up and it’s clear, I don’t feel the need to wear makeup as I don’t have any patches to cover up, my skin tone has evened out. I am so pleased!! I recently bought the night cream and night mask which I have added to my routine and again I’m not disappointed!! Love this product."
