Hilary Erhard Duff has many strings to her bow: the star is known as an actress, singer-songwriter, entrepreneur, perfumer and book author. She shot to fame playing a lead role in the Disney Channel's Lizzie McGuire show, although she had previously spent amateur stints in local theatres and performing in TV commercials. Her TV success went to the big screen when her Disney show was turned into a movie and resulted in her appearance in further films like Cheaper by the Dozen and A Cinderella Story. From the screen to music, Duff is an RIAA-certified triple-platinum recording artist thanks to her debut album, Metamorphosis. Whereas her two consecutive albums Hilary Duff and Most Wanted were certified platinum - and she has totalled over 13 million records worldwide but only made it to 69<sup>th</sup> place on Billboard's best selling artists of 2000s list. The star is also signed to IMG Models, has her own clothing line called 'Stuff by Hilary Duff' and contributes to Femme for DKNY Jeans. Elizabeth Arden beauty have released two perfumes in conjunction with the star and she released her debut adult novel Elixir.
